This module creates a 5 volt square wave signal for a replacement of an ignition signal to the ignition coil terminal 1. (Ignition fire signal simulator
It is suitable for driving a conventional tachometer of an ignition signal (terminal 1 required) with a square wave signal.
NOTE: From 12/07/2010 (date of delivery) we will deliver a new version with changed input!
In the entrance is now an additional amplifier stage with an input resistance of 10 kOhm. So the input signal is no longer charged. The response line (voltage level at which the input signal) is now 1.3 volts. Signals of control devices with open collector output (which the output signal does not quite go to zero) can now be detected.
Technical details:
Size: 52 x 36 x 19 mm
Supply voltage: 9 to 15 volts
Input resistance: 10 kOhm
Input Signal: 5 to 12 volt square wave signal (each ignition pulse)
Output signal: Replacement tachometer signal for terminal 1 (ignition primary circuit)
